Lisnevin Training School – The Admin Building
The administration building was for staff members and visitors to check in before being granted access to Lisnevin Training School. It was also used for meetings and to store important borstal keys and documents.

Lisnevin Training School – Millisle Borstal
Lisnevin Training School was a secure borstal with accommodation for up to 40 boys. Marred by allegations of abuse and human rights breaches, Lisnevin closed its doors in 2003 before being turned into a Police Training School.

The American Diner – Route 66
Route 66 is a former American diner located in Conlig, Northern Ireland. Opening in 1998 this restaurant followed a similar fate of the American Route 66 and closed its doors in 1999 due to dwindling traffic numbers.

The Overgrown House
An overgrown and forgotten about house, located just off a busy road in Northern Ireland. Formerly a grand house, this abandoned residence is now a dumping ground for old appliances.
RAF Ballykelly
RAF Ballykelly opened in June of 1941 as a base for RAF Coastal Command during World War II. From here, aircraft were sent out to spot, track and engage enemy submarines in the Atlantic Ocean. During the Cold War, the airfield was extended to enable the V-bomber force to use RAF Ballykelly as a dispersal site. In 2008, the Ministry of Defence closed the airfield.

The Vintage Mill
One rainy Saturday afternoon we set out to find an abandoned school but instead stumbled upon this nondescript, farmhouse looking building. Inside however, we found something completely unexpected – an abandoned mill with items dating back to the late 1800s!

The Gentleman’s Residence
A gentleman’s residence, located in rural Northern Ireland. It appears this property owner hung up his cap by the fireplace for the last time and simply disappeared.

Lisnamurrican Primary School
Lisnamurrican Primary School was situated in Broughshane, just outside Ballymena. Enrolment peaked at 30 pupils before it closed its doors in 2006 due to dwindling numbers. Local celebrity, James Nesbitt, attended the school as a youngster. His father, James ‘Jim’ Nesbitt was the headmaster. The school comprised of 2 classrooms, a canteen, restrooms, and a small outbuilding.
