Driving around the Glens of Antrim, we stumbled upon this stunning double fronted house without a front door! We went inside and discovered a flat cap hanging on the fireplace with no sign of its owner.
Racing and animal magazines were scattered across the living room and the kitchen cupboards contained long expired soups and tins of fruit with the odd empty bottle of Bushmills hidden amongst them.
This large home contained 4 bedrooms, 3 of which were empty with the 4th containing a metal bed frame and some furniture. Each bedroom had a fireplace and amazing views of the rolling countryside.
Outside, two outbuildings contained chopped up wood, presumably for the fireplaces in the bedroom.

Hello, could you tell me where in the Glens of Antrim the gentleman’s residence is? I would be thrilled to check it out myself!

Hi there
I have an interest in the history of this county and would very much like to photograph this place and discover some of the history of it again I won’t disclose the location given to me as I want this little piece of history to remain frozen in time but would very much like to explore and photograph it myself and was hoping you could email me the coordinates or address or area it is in and I will check it out I would be grateful to hear back thank you so much

Beautiful photos! There are always people wanting others to do the hard work for them. Don’t publish the locations.
